A used 10x16 red chicken house with a small fenced yard typically features a walk-in design capable of housing approximately 25 to 60 chickens, depending on internal configuration. 

Structure and Exterior

• Dimensions & Material: Often built with a 10' x 16' footprint, these structures frequently use durable Board and Batten or LP siding painted a classic barn red.
• Roofing: Common styles include Quaker (overhanging front roof) or A-Frame, often finished with weather-resistant red metal or asphalt shingles.
• Windows & Ventilation: Typically includes 2 to 6 windows (often 24"x36") and gable vents to maintain airflow and moisture control.
• Entry Points: Includes a full-sized man door for cleaning and a smaller chicken door with a ramp for flock access. 

Fenced Yard (Run)
